Description

Billy Pierce, the younger brother of CedarHouse Productions founder/producer Johnny Pierce, is the CedarHouse resident producer. Billy has been an independent producer/musician/songwriter ever since he can remember. As an independent producer, he has worked on projects such as the Tribute to Bob Dylan and with artists Emmy Lou Harris, Dwight Yokam, Stony Edwards, Kate Campbell, George Pendergrass and many more.

As a guitarist/bassist, he has toured professionally since the age of 17. He also has secured cuts on albums by Tim Mcgraw, Martina McBride and Montgomery Gentry. He co-produced the highly successful Sony Records re-issue of the Jimmie Spheeris catalog. He also co-produced many projects with the 4 time Grammy nominated team of brother and producer Johnny Pierce and engineer Jim Emrich.

Billy believes that the value of coming to CedarHouse over all other studios is the experience the artist has while working here. Making the transition from writing and playing songs in your garage, club or home studio to capturing the essence of your vision in a recording can be a tedious and frustrating task.
