Helping Hands was started in 2001 by Charlie and Barbara Tapply when Charlie semi retired after 18 years as a Manufacturing Engineer. Helping hands is a service based company providing assistance with all those chores you find piling up but never seem to have the time to do Barbara does Medical billing and Charlie had been doing landscaping, maintenance, and woodworking.
Charlie had been a photographer before his Manufacturing Engineering days and has never lost his appreciation for art and design.The Cedar Roof Collection has developed around designs Helping Hands acquired from Twiggery Wood Products of Gilford, NH. Although some basic designs have been retained, the items are now distinctively those belonging to The Cedar Roof Collection and are made with techniques Charlie learned in Manufacturing to maintain Quality at a competitive price and yet retain the look and feel of true NH craftsmanship.
Helping Hands is located on Bridgewater Hill near Newfound Lake in a house Charlie designed and built and Barbara has decorated and made into a very comfortable country home. They enjoy developing their yard into a testing ground for their bird and critter products.
