Christian Campus House was founded by Christian churches in the Springfield area in 1977 to provide fellowship, teaching, counsel, worship, and opportunities for service to college students in Springfield. Since that time, Christian Campus House has been a spiritual home to thousands of students from any number of religious (and non-religious) backgrounds. In any given semester, CCH consists of mature Christians growing in their faith, new Christians who are just learning the basics, and seekers who are trying to figure out if this God thing is for real. CCH seeks to be a safe place where all these people can come together to love God and to love each other.
We believe that relationships are very important. Much of our life on campus is shaped by our friends -- friends who like you for who you are; friends to laugh with; friends to cry with; friends to lean on when the going gets tough; and friends with whom to celebrate the joys God's world has to offer.
Because Christian Campus House is a community of students who feel friendship is extremely important, we offer family groups, which consist of 6-10 people meeting weekly to talk about student issues, to encourage each other, and to spend time praying together. We also offer large group gatherings for praise, worship, Bible studies, and fellowship every Tuesday evening during the school year. Just stop by Missouri State's Plaster Student Union at 8:01 and join us!
