Dr. Kading received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1990. She worked as an associate veterinarian in Atlanta, Georgia, for four years before practicing relief work in the Atlanta area until early March, 1999. Her relief work allowed her opportunities to practice in many different settings, including emergency medicine. She moved to Colorado Springs in late March 1999 with her four cats and began her practice at CAVH on April 15, 1999. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and Colorado Springs Area Veterinary Society (CSAVS). Dr. Kading enjoys hiking, swimming, and reading.
Diane "Deedle" Murray is from Northern California; she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Davis, in 1992. She started as a veterinary technician in Atlanta in 1994, where she met Dr. Kading. She has worked at several veterinary clinics in Georgia and Colorado before becoming Hospital Administrator of CAVH in April 1999, when she and Dr. Kading purchased the practice. Deedle moved to Colorado Springs in March 1997 and lives in Old Colorado City with her husband Kent, son Logan, two cats (Simon and Thumbelina), two dogs (Chip the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Maddie the ex-racing greyhound), mice (Laverne & Shirley), and numerous fish. Deedle loves to volunteer, read, and listen to music. She also enjoys all sports, especially long hikes (preferably up 14ers), snowshoeing, and mountain and road biking.
Dr. Kading and Deedle are supported by a friendly, knowledgeable, and caring staff, including their long-time receptionist, veterinary assistants, and kennel attendants. Meet the staff!
