Description
We are a small kennel located in the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia on the Appalachian Trail. We have bred and raised Jack Russell Terriers for over 10 years. We have found this terrier to be one of the most intelligent and versatile breeds we have ever had the pleasure of raising.
We have finished the 2005 season with many memories from our participation in racing, conformation, and go-to-ground. As we approach the 2006 show season, we are looking forward to Catawba Mountain’s continued success on the show circuit. Catawba Mountain to date has produced 4 JRTCA or JRTCC National or Reserve National Champions in Performance. Catawba Mountain Phoenix -2003 JRTCC Reserve Puppy Racing Champion. Catawba Mountain Fantasia -2003 & 2005 JRTCA National Under GTG Champion. Catawba Mountain Gidget -2003 Reserve National GTG Champion. Catawba Mountain Phoenix-2003 JRTCC Reserve Puppy Racing Champion. Catawba Mountain Chaos -2004 JRTCA National Puppy GTG Champion.
Catawba Mountain’s philosophy is simply this: We strive to breed the most correct terrier possible-with conformation, performance, temperament and hunting ability in mind.
