Dianna and I like to create one-of-a-kind art knives. Our blades are forged Damascus or of 440C stainless steel. Handle materials can be of Ivory or natural stones, such as Jade or Lapis. Our knives are occasionally embellished with engraving or with deep relief carving. Scrimshaw is also available. I started making knives in 1981 and became full-time in 1986. I'm a retired deputy sheriff. I have received several prestigious awards, such as the Cronk Award and numerous best of show awards. I make swords, daggers, bowies and folders. I prefer to work from my own designs, but will work with you on yours, or collaborate on any other designs that you might have. Dianna has been making knives since 1988. Dianna was the third woman to join the Knifemakers' Guild. She has also won several awards. Dianna's first award was won at the Blade Show for best miniature. That was after only one year as a knifemaker. She makes miniatures and also full-size knives. Dianna is a correctional facility nurse and reserve deputy. Dianna is also a member of the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team and is certified in advanced use of weapons. We are very proud to say that we have knives in collections all over the world. Our work has been published in knife magazines and Jim Weyer's "Points of Interest". Traveling is one of our favorite things to do. We attend the Guild Show, Las Vegas Custom Show, New York Custom Show and the Chesapeake Show.
