Description
The Formed in 1993, the Casino Association of Louisiana is a business corporation serving as the industry trade group for the licensed riverboat casinos in Louisiana. Located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Casino Association works closely with its nine statewide members, the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, the Attorney General's Office and the Louisiana State Police on a spectrum of regulatory issues. Additionally the association provides lobbying services, information support and serves as the point of contact for public, governmental and media inquiries.
To increase awareness of the Louisiana casino gaming industry and its related economic benefits through aggressive education programs designed to bring its message to targeted audiences as well as the public.
To monitor issues and regulations on behalf of CAL members and to represent CAL interest during the development of State laws and regulations.
