I was born in Halifax, Canada, but was dragged out of the country kicking and screaming at a tender age of two months! I was raised in Cheddar, England, (famous for it's cheese, tourist caves, and more importantly, cider). Left England for France when I was about 17. Lived in France for about 3 ½ years. Had a blast! Then I worked onboard cruise ships for 5 years. We used to spend half the year in the Mediterranean and the other in the Caribbean. What a perfect life!
I met the love of my life onboard, Silvia. She can tell you all about herself though! We left the cruise ships and relocated to Canada, but not before going down to Australia and Asia for 6 months. Had our own bakery & coffee shop for the last 5 years, but decided we had to get back to the warm Caribbean sun! So here we are.
If I could give any advice to people it would be to follow your dreams and travel the world. You learn a lot from traveling. From my travels I speak fluent French & Italian, and my Spanish is not too bad either. Get out there and experience different cultures…. start with a visit to the Dominican Republic!
