Every one of our cards is a exotic collage of colourful inspiration. Ancient patterns and contemporary colours, detailed type-ornaments and chunky wood block prints. It's a world of texture and an eyeful of sizzling colour. Completely unique and gloriously refreshing! Many of our cards feature centuries old block prints and antique cartouches, combined with twentieth century lead type and contemporary colours. A multicultural trip through the centuries resulting in a fresh, modern twist for you to collect and to share!
Whether it's a card for a birthday, an anniversary, a new baby or perhaps some boxed note sets - we have something for everyone and for every occasion. Cartolina Cards are printed on bright white card with a soft, matte finish. Our counter cards are embellished with glossy spot varnishes to highlight the colours and the fabulous details.
At Cartolina we care ! All our cards are printed on recycled paper that comes with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. The FSC represents products produced from well-managed forests, controlled sources and recycled wood. Our cards are printed with vegetable based inks and our printer was named Most Environmentally Friendly Printer in Canada at the 2006 and 2007 Environmental Printing Awards. The FSC logo is displayed on the back of all of our counter cards.
