- Carrypad.com was developed from a blog started in Feb 2006, itself the result of a personal quest to find a computing 'suite' that covered the mobile to desktop range. Many applications were (and still are!) migrating to smartphones but it was clear that there were a few key areas that could never migrate to smartphones but were still 'mobile' applications.
