Stan Rogers, director of Carpenter Stan Ltd is truly a carpenter of distinction. His education started in the shipyards of Newcastle where he served a five year apprenticeship working on some of England's finest vessels.
Self-employed for the majority of his working life his business has taken him all over the country. Whether the job was shop fitting for Marks and Spencer, Littlewoods and Tesco or as a section manager at Wolfson College, Oxford, travel is part of the trade.
Stan Rogers taught carpentry at the Building Crafts Training School, London , run by the Worshipful Company of Carpenters.
