How do we control the misuse of free parking periods?
Utilising mobile technology to record and monitor the length of stay of vehicles within the car park, individual number plate images are captured, attaching the time of capture and recording the data into a database. By regularly driving through the car parks and capturing number plate images, vehicles overstaying the agreed free parking period are identified and issued with a Parking Fee Tax Invoice requiring payment of a parking fee.
What about unauthorised vehicles, disabled spaces etc?

Pay and Display

Vehicles parking can do so for either a free period or for a parking fee, using the Pay & Display ticket to identify their agreed length of parking stay. Each customer is required to observe the Terms and Conditions of Parking. Vehicles not parking in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Parking are then issued with a parking ticket using the Parkpay 'LOCALE' ticket issuing system.
