- People who enjoy reading have been happy for 27 years that Martha McLeod decided to open the first Carolina Book Rack in Greenville. Since then two additional stores have opened in Mauldin and in Spartanburg. In December of 2001, we moved the Mauldin store to the new Cherrydale Point Shopping Center, and now in 2005, have moved the Cherrydale store to Lake Forest Shopping Center.
