Carhenge is the whimsical recreation of Stonehenge, fashioned from American-made automobiles at Alliance, Nebraska. It is a very well-attended tourist site and souvenirs are available in the nearby community of Alliance. Celebrations center around the Summer Solstice and have included car shows, poetry readings and pageantry emulating Druid ceremonies.
