Darren Hull is an accomplished photographer of fashion, music, and editorial portraiture. A photography student from a very young age, Darren's work is informed by a strong sense of storyline. For the last 10 years hull photographic was based in Vancouver, where Darren earned a reputation for shooting graphic, evocative portraiture and fashion. He has sinced relocated to the Okanagan where he continues to capture innovative images for global and local clients.
Since the relocation, Darren has offered a limited schedule for Wedding Photography. "We have a busy schedule with our commerical and corporate clients, but since moving to this area, I thought wedding photography would be a great addition to our exisiting services." Hull Photographic only shoots between 10 to 12 weddings a year. "We approach each wedding as an editiorial assignment, we are organized and prepared and offer images as unique as the individual".
The majority of Darren's assignment work entails photographing people. Roughly half of his subjects are talent (models or actors) and the other half "real people" i.e. company personnel (corporate executives, salespeople, attorneys, etc.) or clients and customers. Despite the obvious differences in working with these two groups, Darren adopts the same approach and creates a relaxed, convivial atmosphere in which the subjects feel confident enough to let down their guard and to try new things.
