Description
In 1980 Michael Bertelsen, owner and operator of Captain Action Charters began his career as a professional fisherman in the Florida Keys, where he worked on the local charter boats after school and on weekends.
In 1988 Michael saw the need for a similar business in the Muskoka's. Since that time he has been successfully operating one of Ontario's leading guide services, and chosen by celebrities such as José Cruz (Toronto Blue Jays), John LeClair (Philadelphia Flyers), Shayne Corson & Darcy Tucker (Toronto Maple Leafs) and the World's Top Golfers Mark O'Meara, Nick Faldo and Mike Weir, taking guests fishing from ice-out to freeze-up.
Michael also presents many seminars throughout the season at different Bass Pro Shops events. Major fishing shows are also attended where he gives tips to the public.
