Superior Trails began life as my personal travel and recreation pages on PersonalityPathways.com, a site I created several years ago. As the pages multiplied, it eventually occurred to me this growing collection can function as a guidebook of sorts for others who are interested in traveling down similar recreational and travel pathways. And it gives me an opportunity to recycle the information in the hundreds (perhaps thousands!) of brochures, maps, books, pamphlets, and other reference documents that mysteriously get attached to me during our travels!
As this is a work-in-progress, realize that only a fraction of the resource information on these topics has made it into these pages. So don't hesitate to send an e-mail on questions . . . or even a contribution to our resources.
Note: We are beginning to plan the 2006 traveling season. Hope to make some winter trips to the Bayfield Peninsula and the North Shore. We've got more thoroughly exploring Apostle Islands and Madeline Island on our minds for late spring. Also thinking about a more extended visit at both Soo's (Michigan and Ontario) and perhaps a trip on the Algoma Railroad.
