Research Programs
The Cancer Research Institute funds research aimed at furthering the development of immunological approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer. CRI's research programs are designed to recognize and support those researchers around the world who are focused on this area. Today CRI provides funding at every level of scientific inquiry, from coordinated clinical trials to the most basic research, and supports scientist at all career levels.
In addition to highly competitive research grants awarded selectively by our Scientific Advisory Council, we sponsor a seminal international symposium on cancer immunology each year; educate the public about immunology and immunotherapy; and present awards to scientists and laypersons who have made outstanding contributions to the field.
