Description
Campus Action, founded April 7, 1992, is a multi-racial organization striving to build a stronger progressive social change movement.
Campus Action stands against racism, economic oppression, and homophobia; and for justice, peace, feminism, multiculturalism, the environment, labor rights, economic and educational opportunities, and academic freedom.
Campus Action seeks to strengthen existing campus groups, to help new groups form, and to build cooperation between campus and community movement organizations. We carry out our work through networking, education, skills training, and organizing.
Turnover is built into all student organizing. Every year, members graduate and move on, which means, to some extent we have to start over, rebuilding our chapters, committees, task groups, and coalitions.
