Title

CAMPVets - Canadian Association of Military Police Veterans

Description

The Canadian Association of Military Police Veterans (CAMPVETS) is a non-profit fellowship of current and former serving members of the Canadian Forces Military Police, which was formed on 19 November 2004. CAMPVETS is currently headquartered in the beautiful Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia, however, its membership stretches globally, whether it be retired members living in warmer climates, members currently serving in Canada, or our deployed members serving Her Majesty and Canada abroad on deployed operations, peacekeeping missions or with Canadian Embassies. CAMPVETS gets its technical support from a server centrally located in Ontario, which is managed by our infamous and much revered Webmaster - Andy.

We are very mindful of the sacrifices made by our predecessors in the Canadian Provost Corps, the Royal Canadian Air Force Police and the Royal Canadian Navy Regulating Branch, and equally proud of their hard earned traditions. It is from their legacies that the Canadian Forces created the current Military Police Branch, symbolized by the insignia of the Thunderbird. Within this site you will find links to other websites, which provide glimpses into our proud history, and we would invite all to enjoy them as well.

Our very popular guest book is open for public comment and view. We invite you to browse through it, and to comment if you wish, however, while we are very receptive to regimental rivalry, the odd hip-check, and good natured slamming, we frown on inappropriate language, personal attacks against any of our members (whether they deserve it or not), and of course any negative comments against Her Majesty.
