Cameron Bennett was born in 1971 in Brooklyn, NY. His parents, both artists, provided his first training. His formal art instruction began at the Baltimore School for the Arts, a specialized high school in Baltimore, MD, and continued at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Maryland Institute College of Art, and the Massachusetts College of Art from which he received his B.F.A. in illustration in 1994.
