- Founded in January of 2001 by Rodney Everhart, Red computer service began in a spare room in his home and with only one client. The one client, which was Sara Lee Sock Company, provided a substantial amount of work. The amount of time available to service additional clients was very limited which made the business vulnerable. Understanding the vulnerability he felt the experience level acquired from such a corporation out weighed the risk. As expected the large client began downsizing and the services needed shrank and eventually disappeared all together. At this point he began marketing his business to other businesses. Promoting that data and time loss were not an option in the business world the clients began to build. While working with users one on one he began to realize the public sector feared computers and especially computer problems. Based on this he began marketing to the public and providing the same level of service as provided to businesses.
