W. Yee Insurance Agency was started because of a need by many people trying to find affordable insurance when other companies would turn them down.
Walter Yee, an insurance broker (License #0804834) was born in Boston, Massachusetts. After receiving his MBA, Walter moved to San Francisco and started work at Smith Barney as a financial advisor and later served as First Vice President at Shearson Lehman. In 1990, Walter entered the insurance business with Farmers Insurance Groups serving clients throughout the Bay Area with their insurance needs for over 10 years.
After several years of desiring to serve those people who have difficult finding insurance, Walter was able to make his dream come true in 2001 and offered his services statewide. He has a property and casualty license and can write most types of personal and small business insurance and workers compensation as well as individual and group health insurance. Because he has strong relationships with many carriers, Walter knew he could specialize in hard-to-find, and hard-to-place insurance for a large segment of people.
