In an effort to improve middle school-student achievement, the Sacramento City Unified School District has been having symposiums for its teachers and administrators. To assist in this effort, middle school educators have been working with the book, Breaking Ranks in the Middle. Each school has created a BRIM (acronym for the book) Task Force to lead their site through reform.
