BytesRUs Web Hosting Services is owned and operated by Mike and Darlene Janssen of Janssen Digital Imaging in Melville, Saskatchewan, Canada.
We began out Internet adventure in Kamloops, BC in 1999 with out first online venture being Imagination Market. A full online ecommerce enable shopping site marketing products from Artisans and Crafters across Canada. In 1999 it was very difficult to have products listed in Canadian dollars, this was definately a challenge. Since 1999 the Market has grown not only with products, but also has the latest technology for security and presentation in an ecommerce enabled site.
We work mostly with open source code. Open source code is written by programmers around the world all contributing to excellent programs which are free to use though not always simple to implement. As our experience develops we also hope to contribute to the open source community.
