Burrows Lumber Inc. is a wholesaler and distributor of various softwood and hardwood lumber products, primarily dimensional SPF from British Columbia, Alberta and Quebec. Our head office is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we have seven lumber traders focusing on U.S. and Canadian softwood accounts and one lumber trader marketing various hardwood products. Located at the north end of Interstate 29, Burrows operates two reload facilities in Winnipeg as well as one remanufacturing facility. In addition, Burrows has a branch sales office, with 2 traders, located in Calgary. Reload facilities are in Calgary, Edmonton, Chicago, Kansas City and Minneapolis. Burrows distributes both by rail reload and remanufacturing facilities. Annual sales are in excess of 110 million length SPF and SPF Studs throughout North America. Our standard products, randomlength lumber, boards, resawn material, pallet and crating stock, and many custom cut or specialty products. Other products marketed include Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, Eastern SPF, Cedar, Plywood, OSB, Engineered Wood and various hardwood species and products.

The Burrows Lumber Company was founded in 1879 at time when forests seemed inexhaustible and opportunity for new settlers abounded. The Company's accomplishments through its 125 year history are due primarily to the groundwork laid down by the company founder, Theodore Arthur Burrows.
