The Burnside family has been in the retail auto and RV business for over 60 years. Burnside RV specializes in new and previously owned recreation vehicles. With two stores located in Northern Michigan and our newest location in Belleville, Burnside RV is dedicated to serving your camping needs.
The first generation of Burnsides opened the doors to its first dealership in Bay City, Michigan in 1941. This dealership was operated by first and second generation Burnsides until 1984 and then was eventually sold. During this time, Larry Burnside identified a need for truck and RV sales in Northern Michigan and opened a new dealership in Houghton Lake in 1979.
Currently, Mike Burnside operates the Houghton Lake location, a third generation of Burnside's carrying on the family business. In 1994, Burnside RV was recognized as number ONE in the state of Michigan for new 5th wheel sales. Burnside RV has held this prestigious recognition by remaining in the top five, within the state of Michigan, for new 5th wheel sales since 1994.
