In 1947 Charles L. Burks started a one man operation in Western North Carolina with the philosophy of selling quality products combined with superior, reliable service. Through the years Burks Incorporated grew to an organization with 7 sales people, two warehouses and an area that covered the seven southeastern states. In June 2008, Burks Incorporated was purchased by The M.F. Cachat Company.
