Building the Future is Canada's first national nursing research study, a project dedicated to developing and implementing a long-term, informed, comprehensive strategy in partnership with, and with the participation of, nurses and all national nursing stakeholders, associations and organizations to address the challenges, problems and opportunities facing the nursing sector, to find answers and solutions and to ensure there will be enough licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses to meet the evolving needs of Canadians and the Canadian health care system now and in the future. / Construire l'avenir est le premier projet national canadien voué à l'élaboration et à la mise en oeuvre d'une stratégie globale à long terme qui permettra de s'assurer qu'il y a suffisamment d'infirmières et d'infirmiers pour répondre aux besoins changeants des Canadiens et de notre système de soins de santé.
