About BucksRailCentRe.org

In 1968, the London Railway Preservation Society chose Quainton Road as it's new base. Renamed as the Quainton Railway Society these early beginnings have grown into the 25acre site you see today. The well established Buckinghamshire Railway Centre is one of the leading steam museums in the country - the Collection includes many steam, diesel locomotives together with other forms of motive power, including Metropolitan No.1 and the Beattie Well Tank.
