The cool water rushed into my waders and chilled my spine, right before the current proved too strong and swept me downstream. I first was worried about my camera, trying to hold it above water, but soon I simply wanted not to drown. I was pulled to safety by Jim who after laughing a bit, realized I was in danger. Dripping wet and a little scared, I answered his questioning "What the hell were you trying to do?" he asked. "Get my fly out of that bush across stream." I sheepishly replied. It was then that we realized that we were paying too much for flies. We decided to start a company that would allow people to keep their boxes full all season without going broke, but also quit risking life and limb for simple fur and feathers. Buck A Bug was formed and since has supplied thousands of customers great quality flies at an unbelievable price.
