Before moving to Boston, Elad lived in Israel, where he was born and raised. Elad served in the Israeli Army for five years as a captain in Special Forces unit. He headed a Medical department and served as the Chief of Staff’s private paramedic.
From the age of 15, Elad volunteered in the Israeli Emergency Services, Magen David Adom as a medic, instructor and head of volunteers in his station. Elad treated hundreds of wounded and was recognized for Excellence in Volunteerism by the Israeli President.
