Description
The SBTI was founded in _ April 2002 and supports _ high-tech entrepreneurs _ in starting and growing _ their businesses by offering innovative products and services to the entrepreneurial community. We are a networked or “virtual” incubator (an “incubator without walls”) providing hands-on business coaching and mentoring and by connecting them to our network of local and international partners and associates.
Our services are available to the entire technology development and entrepreneurship value chain, and include support for start-up companies, established corporates, academic and research institutions, and financial investment institutions, backed by local and international partners and associates. The SBTI focuses on the Information, Communications and Electronics technology markets. The SBTI is supported by the Godisa Programme, which is funded by the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Trade and Industry.
