Description
Beth Fishback is a native of the San Francisco Peninsula, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She earned a BA in Communication Studies from UCLA, and has worked extensively in advertising and in retail travel. Her many hobbies include photography, Hawaiian "Kapa" Quilting, attending live theater and concerts, and spending time with her family, which includes two miniature Schnauzers, and a black-and-white cat (whose presence certainly adds a "challenge" to her jewelry designing -- especially when the he knocks the beads all over the floor)!
Beth's custom jewelry designs focus on innovative combinations of color, shape and texture. Just as she does when she makes a photograph, each piece of jewelry she crafts embodies the simplicity of lines, hue, and texture, to allow for the basic beauty of the stones, crystal, precious metal, or glass to shine.
Beth has been actively involved in fundraising for local, national, and worldwide charities since childhood. She has raised money for organizations including UNICEF (remember "trick or treat for UNICEF?"), Rotary International (she is a Paul Harris Fellow), the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Team in Training" program, and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, to name but a few! In her lifelong desire to "give something back," a portion of the proceeds from EACH sale of B's Beads & Baubles is donated to the following charitable organizations:
