Description
David Browne Metal Design creates one-of-a-kind pieces of Functional Art from iron, steel, bronze, brass, and copper. Each piece is meticulously crafted and finished to the strictest standards. Whenever possible, reclaimed metals are employed and given new life as furniture, sculpture and forged vessels.
In the finishing process, I am fond of natural, as well as chemical patinas. These mimic the rich earthy colors that nature and time imparts on a metals surface. In many instances, patinas are applied in layers to achieve a subtle depth of color.
