- Joseph Brining graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1964. Started in the Life insurance business with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1964. In 1965 began career in the Property and Casualty business with James E. Roberts of Roberts Insurance Agency in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. In April of 1972 established Brining Insurance Agency in Tonkawa where they continue to sell all lines of Insurance. Brining Insurance is licensed to write business in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas & Missouri. Joseph T. Brining is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Tonkawa, Lions Club, Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of Economic Development Committee and present member. Help organize and past president of Tonkawa Take Down Wrestling Club, past president of Tonkawa J.C.'s , past president of Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of Tonkawa Chamber recreation committee. Chosen Tonkawa Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the year. Past president of PIA of Oklahoma . Present member of the PIA, IIA and PIA of Oklahoma, IIA of Oklahoma. Present member of the American Legion.
