- The Benalla Performing Arts & Convention Centre (BPACC) after 14 months in construction and 4 years in planning was officially opened on Friday November 12, 2004 by Minister for Education and Training, the Honourable Lynne Kosky M.P.
- Since that time the centre has been host to over 350 events including conferences, conventions, school concerts, public meetings, graduations, meetings, classical concerts, stand up comedy, fringe theatre, morning melodies, workshops, lectures, dinners, seminars, country music concerts, children's pantomime, amateur theatre and so on. Over 27,000 people have visited BPACC as either arts patrons or event participants.
