Title

Boys Village

Description

Boys' Village was founded in 1946 by a Methodist Minister and a group of influential Ohio businessmen, as a residential Treatment Center for troubled boys who could not remain in their own homes or who were homeless.

Today the Village continues to benefit from the leadership provided by the Members of the Boys' Village Corporation who elect the Board of Trustees. Boys Village is incorporated in Ohio as a non-profit corporation and is recognized under IRS regulations as a 501(c)(3) charity.

At the present time our resources are focused in four areas: residential treatment, day treatment, foster care and alternative school programs. While the residential programs, especially those on the Wooster Campus continue to draw from a large geographic area, all of our other programs strive to be community based and focus on services for children and families in the area where they are located.
