- I am the mother of a preemie named Connor. A beautiful baby with fortunately no major medical problems except Acid Reflux Disease. He was diagnosed at 14 days old. His problems required him to be fed sitting up and remain there for about 45 minutes after feeding. His car seat was a good place to sit him. I suspect due to his pain he became very colicky. I am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom but Connor was not a stay at home type baby. He loved to stroll around outside or through the mall etc. It seemed to calm him down.
