The Boston Ornament Company mission is to offer ornamental plaster medallions, mouldings, brackets, including unique custom plaster work to the architects, designers, decorators, and certain clients who demand plaster ornament of the highest quality and in only the finest traditional materials.
For more than two decades the Boston Ornament Company has become the leading source of historically significant and quality ornamentation in the highly critical Greater Boston market. Boston Ornament's work both in plaster and precast stone, using state of the art moulding and casting techniques, is available to the trades and public from the studio in Boston and the company website.
Our products represent the most notable collection of historic 19th century plaster medallions available anywhere. These medallions have been obtained over the past two decades from the finest homes in Boston's Back Bay, Beacon Hill, and the South End. Each was created in one of various Boston studios by the skilled artisans of the time.
