The best ideas come in a flash of blinding brilliance, or so it sometimes seems. Really, though, most inspired gems begin with a silent seed, germinate unnoticed out of sight and then one day—out of the blue—push their way to consciousness and voila! A great idea is born.
In Spring of 2003, John Villegas took the leap of faith and moved from Scottsdale, Arizona to Boquete. With an extensive and successful background in real estate, marketing and sales, he was a natural fit for Sales and Marketing Director with custom home builder and land developer PAN-AM Construction. Around the same time, native Boqueteño Danny Higgins, because of his fluent English and his knowledge of the area, was recruited by PAN-AM to escort and tour prospective clients. From the very beginning it was a great working relationship and from this seed germinated a warm friendship. But that was only the beginning.
As the months went by, Danny became more and more involved in assisting clients to feel comfortable in Boquete. Danny had spent 12 years in the US, so he was comfortable with North Americans and knew what they liked. He was very impressed with PAN-AM's systematic and successful approach. But, because he is generous and amibitious, he desired to provide even more services. Meanwhile, John became more and more aware of the potential in Boquete for a real estate business committed to serving its clients with the highest ethical standards, personal service and style. The two visions were on a convergence course. In December 2003, in one of those blinding flashes of brilliance, the concept for Boquete Legacy Real Estate emerged from its incubation.
