It was suggested as far back as 1997 that the community located in Richmond Kentucky called 'Boones Trace' have a website for it's residents, property owners and the Boones Trace Civic Association . The only problem was finding a way to properly keep a undertaking such as a website ongoing and current. This problem was solved in the spring of 2004 through the use of local and national advertising and sponsorships. The purpose of this website is to provide timely information to the residents, property owners and prospective property owners of Boones Trace. This website is being hosted by CyberSmarts.com. Ongoing updates are made by Doug Wedding and Betty Huxel. Sales and advertising on boonestrace.org are used to help support the ongoing hosting and daily maintenance of this website.
Fully functional partnerships with Amazon.com, Google.com, ISP.com have been formed. What does this mean to our residents? It means that you can purchase items through this website at the same price as you would normally through these partners but each time a purchase is made the partner donates part of their proceeds towards keeping the website up year 'round -24/7. These partners were sought out due to their low overhead so almost all of the prices are lower then a 'bricks and mortar' venue. No added commission is charged for any of the categories listed below.
