- An electrician by trade Steve Rhoades was used to working with his hands. Changing from tools to a torch he started experimenting with glass after watching his son work with borosilicate glass. By watching videos, asking questions of others in the field and trial and error Steve taught himself to make beads. Always experimenting with colors from different manufacturers and trying new ideas Steve has developed the ability to bring out amazing earthy colors in his individual beads. As the song goes Steve has truly taken his passion and makes it happen in each bead he creates.
