About Blue Ox Timber Frames
While spending my youth in the woods of Minnesota, it was easy for me to become fascinated with the strength and beauty of wood. Although I had been exposed to timber frame structures while in Asia, Europe, and the mountains of the West, I first ventured inside a timber frame home on an extended fishing trip to Alaska.
I became intrigued immediately. From that point forward, while building fine homes in Alaska, Washington State, and North Carolina, I became a student of everything related to the craft.
Now, as founder of Blue Ox Timber Frames, I am personally involved with each frame that we create I strongly believe there is no replacement for loving and believing in what you do.
