Founded in 2004, we are physically based in Auckland New Zealand. Our love for fishing and frustration with the cost of fishing tackle in general is the main reason we embarked on this journey. We hope that we have resolved some of the issues that take the fun out of fishing.
All our goods are sourced directly from the factories where they are manufactured. By missing out the "middle men" we ensure that we can keep our prices down.
We understand the frustration in buying 'cheap' equipment only to find that it lasts a couple of months before it reaches the inorganic throw-out pile. I know from personal experience. This is a major point of difference between Blueangler and other retailers. The goods we sell might be in a similar price range as the low budget brands, but there is definitely no compromise on quality. In fact most of them are manufactured in the same factories as the big name brands. The brands we stock have been personally assessed by us to be of a high quality.
