Research during his battle with prostate cancer made him aware of how very few resources were available for financially-challenged cancer patients in the area. The Joyce family came together and The Fund was created to help fulfill this critical need. Since its inception, The Fund has assisted nearly 100 patients and distributed over $50,000 to Rockingham County cancer patients and their families.
