- blastoffkids.com (BOK) is a web directory for childrens' goods such as (but not limited to) clothes, toys, shoes, restaurants, vacation spots, etc. Blastoffkids.com is a super web-directory that targets any one who may shop for childrens' goods on the web. In particular, those internet shoppers who are interested in finding the best of the best in childrens' goods on the web. Blastoffkids also uses a blog format so that users who have purchased from the sites listed on BOK can share their views and experiences with other shoppers in addition to the rating and reviews BOK will list on each product type or website listed. Fellow Bloggers can also talk about all things kids on the BOK website. The name Blastoffkids was conceived since it infers a starting point, a point at which someone can begin and then move beyond (very quickly) only the most popular places on the Internet faster than going through the traditional search engines, a point of reference for finding all things on the web much like a traveler would use a Zagats to find a great hotel or restaurant. The idea was created from my 6 years of cataloging and combing the web for the best kids products, and fellow moms and dads asking me "where in the world did I get" that dress, those shoes, or that toy. I have consistently heard the same complaint, where ever I go, from Internet users (and potential Internet shoppers) - "I can't find it" or "I don't know how to look for it." BOK does the looking and reviewing for you, and allows its community of users to provide feedback for other users.
