Blastwave FX is a major developer of professional HD sound effects for use in movies, television, radio, video games, and theatre design. Blastwave FX effects are recorded and mixed in 24/96, and are delivered in a variety of different formats. Embedded in these files is extensive metadata, allowing users to quickly sort through the thousands of multichannel sounds each of these libraries provide.
Based in Detroit, MI, Blastwave FX is headed by Ric Viers, author of The Sound Effects Bible (MWP). All of their effects libraries are royalty free, and are intended for use by professional engineers and designers.
