As a Writer/Editor/Publisher, one of my areas of interest is traditional blacksmithing and metalwork. There were some great books published on this subject, but with the decline of the general blacksmith's trade in the forties and fifties, most of these books disappeared. Now they are occasionally found at rare book dealers, sometimes at rather extreme prices. I've been collecting old blacksmithing books for awhile now, and occasionally have found some real gems.
