It all started one day in April of 1965. John McDaniel purchased the corner of Black Lane and Forest Blvd bond for deed. The property had six vehicles and he had a determination to succeed. Soon after the land purchase, a school bus found to be the perfect office—for the time being. As land surrounding became available, the operation grew to encompass the entire block as well as parts of two adjoining blocks approximately eight acres in all.
